Single Antibiotic Ointment: Neomycin Antibiotic Ointment - First Aid Wound Care & Infection control.

Some medical providers and first aid caregivers prefer a single antibiotic over triple, as a person may have an allergic reaction to one of the three medications (Neomycin, Polymyxin B, and Bacitracin) composing a triple antibiotic. Others prefer Triple as if one medications is ineffective in a particular application, another may do the job. It is mostly a matter of caregiver preference.
